ART RECORDS Several unintentionally humorous recordings from the era of acoustic
recording (prior to 1925). In an effort to preserve historical recordings, Dale W. Johnston has amassed
a large digital archive of recordings from obsolete formats, including
78 r.p.m. records and magnetic tape.
These archives are dedicated to the preservation of recordings for
which no master recording is known to exist.
Some of the recordings in the Archives are one-of-a-kind. Every week, Arts Net Tampa Bay will be presenting a different excerpt
from the Dale W. Johnston Audio Archives.
