I had forgotten how much I loved musical theater. Not the watered-down, trying-to-disguise-the-fact-that-I’m-musical-theater; but honest-to-God, singing-when-it’s-totally-inappropriate, over-the-top-dramatic-sweeps-and-swoops, dancing-for-no-good-reason, but-any-reason musical theater.
